    climbed to 1100 feet and average grade of 16%. Glad my ultra legs could handle it. Wild turkeys, a deer and lizards. Good times!

      A visit to Ralph Wermuth on the Silverado trail would provide you with an entertaining visit. Hid wine is terrible but interesting to learn about his ER doctor background and how his psychic wife sprinkles fairy dust around the border of their vineyard.

    we started yesterday w an amazing swim in the outdoor pool. View of the mountains and wineries. Awesome. Feeling recovered from Rocky 50. Going to try a trail run today

    20th female, 5th age group. Monsoon in am led to muddy mess. Very tough running. Got my Western States qual time. Not the time I wanted, but good enough for today.

      One of the girls at track tonight asked if I just got out of the pool, and she was standing 10 feet away. I was in the pool at lunch and soaked in the shower for 20 min after. I'm ready for the lakes to start warming up.

    Northshore Trails 12.5 mi 02:18 11:01 pace

    Met Josh and Chris for a run to Rockledge. Trails were in pretty good shape despite the recent rain. Closed to bikes today which was nice. Rocky 50 T minus 7 days. All systems go!
