"Taper Week" Day 1 3.17 mi 00:43 13:36 pace

My first "taper" week! The wind picked up right as my running buddy and I started our run. I started out a little too fast; my last mile was a lot more walking to catch my breath. Blah! BUT, I'm kind of proud of the fact that I averaged 12:30. I haven't done that up here at this elevation is quite some time. Left leg started talking towards the end. This is just my second run with my Garmin and I am in love with it already! I like that when I am really feeling like I'm out of breath, I can look at my watch and see that indeed I am pushing a little too hard. Best running investment I have made yet!
