great Brain Broken, In a Good Way? 3.1 mi 00:36 11:44 pace

Either my brain has finally broken, or I'm heat acclimated, because I did not mind it at all today. I really think a little breeze means the world to how I feel. Joel thought that it was jus... read more

It can be difficult to run easy in the summer...that's why I've taken a few inside and on the treadmill. You did it!

    alright Swim Test 976 m 00:18 30:13 pace

Kind of a botched test. Forgot my garmin, so I was doing this off the pool clock and my memory of number of lengths, which stretches thin when I'm pushing myself, so I think I got it right. ... read more

great Slow and Low, That is the Tempo 5.06 mi 01:00 11:51 pace

True blue recovery run. Kept it in that really super easy chatty zone, except for the last mile, where we were just trying to get home to get on with our day. Car said 90 degrees on the way to wo... read more

    great Zone Test - Last 20 mins 11.77 mi 00:20 35.3mph pace

Dear self, if you can work THIS hard during a test, you can work harder on the trainer. HR AVG: 160. I rarely even get it that high outside. This means that I'm going to need to really keep... read more

I've found my HR always seems really low when I'm on a bike - maybe it's just the nature of the type of movement? For me it always seemed more of a question of legs than heart/lungs, but I've never biked much.

great Zones Test Warmup and First 1... 10 mi 00:20 30.0mph pace

I was whining about how I hadn't done a HR zone test in a while so I scheduled a bike and run one and a 1000m swim test this week to see where I'm at. Bike was up first. This was 10 min... read more

Nice easy lake swim to finish out the week. Every time it felt like work I made sure to slow down. Concentrated on being long, lean, and flowy. After I finished my two laps, I played chase the f... read more
