great Walk Like an Egyptian - Pure ... 38 mi 01:30 25.3mph pace

Ah, I missed pain cave cycle workouts. I was actually kind of dreading this, figuring I'd lost every power gain I've made over the Spring and it would be too hard... I know, weirdo, but ... read more

Super strong core work on the SUP! You're definitely gettingthe workouts in even in the offseason. Also I think it's funny that you call the summer the off season. The heat?

Yeah, sorta. I get burned out trying to train through all the heat so I usually take a sabbatical to break up the summer. I really enjoy spending time on the water doing other things besides swimming, and not having to run through soup. Last year, 5 weeks was about the perfect length of time to let loose a bit and still PR the crap out of my 70.3 in September. :) We'll see if it works again!
