...it sucks. Had to get my long run in before work tonight. Left a bit later than I wanted to, took a while to warm up, and then started worrying near the end that I may not be able to finish strong. Was hoping to get 20 in, but settled for 17 and change. Even though my legs were tired and sore from the cray mileage in the last 24 hours, I felt like I could keep going. However, I was getting tired of fighting the 18-36 mph wind gusts. Averaged 8:40 pace the first 9 miles, and 8:31 pace the last 8, including the uphill home. Went through 12 oz cytomax, ate 4 honey stinger chews.
