Ran completely by feel and it was a roller coaster. The first mile was slow and steady. The second mile sped up and I felt great. The third mile was "omg, I'm so winded!" The last partial mile was just necessary to make it home.

In hind sight, I ran much faster than I thought I did. I would guess my second mile was somewhere under 7:00, which is still slow for a fast mile for me, but fast given my recent times. I really need to get the short speed work back into my routine.
