Good run this morning. I felt like I could have done a bit more even. The weather wasn't TOO bad for a Florida summer morning in August. Only two more 20+ mile runs left before New York!


dang girl - what program are you following that calls for 3 20+ runs?? Is it galloways?

Thanks! We have a training program here in Orlando called Marathonfest. It's a group training program and we try to work in multiple 20+ milers to accommodate as many people as possible and plan for busy work schedules, illness and injury. Basically, if your schedule allows for it and you're healthy, do all three. If you're on vacation one weekend, sick, tired, achy muscles, etc - not the end of the world! You have other opportunities to get the mileage.

Sounds like a great plan!! I definitely like getting multiple 20-milers in before my marathons... usually about 3 myself. (I don't group train) GREAT JOB on your run!! Awesome pace!
