Happy to say that I felt much better than yesterday, but still don't feel like me again. I came to the sad realization that I won't be able to run the half marathon this Sunday. The combination of training, lack of sleep, and being overwhelmed with personal issues has finally taken its toll on me, and I can't bounce back in time. I want my first half to be something that I look foward to, not just another item on the list of things I need to accomplish in an already packed month. I want to be ready physically and emotionally, so I can enjoy the feeling of running and just soak up all of the great energy that happens there. This is a heartbreaking decision, but I know it is the right one.

    I'm not on your friends list but I saw this on my "local" page. Could you just go out and walk it? You paid for the should be around your neck! I hope you get out of the funk. I'm in one too and if need be I will walk it come Sunday. I might be nice to not worry about pace and time...just go and have fun (even if I do feel like crap)! Just a thought *shrugs*

    Thanks Eva! I thought about just going and hoping for the best but I'm such an all or nothing girl that the disappointment of not running the was I intended would probably chew at me longer (lol)! I entered the Park 2 Park 1/2 marathon for next month, so I can get refocused. Good luck Sunday and thanks for the words of encouragement!
