    good Speed workout at City College 3 mi

    In preparation for next Sunday's track meet, I did some striders and 4 x 400m at 77 seconds with 200m jog between. I had to do it solo, because only sprinters showed up today =(

    Windy! But I wanted to run a 800m time trial today, so I remember the pace. 2:18 is not too bad for the early track season (for me), so I am happy.

    Beach run in the morning. Nice board walk near my friend's apartment to almost Queen Mary's pier and back.

    First time running over a mile since last Monday. Great to be back on the street hitting the pavement! Pretty warm evening. Love it!

    Ran to SF State for the track practice. 150m x 6 strides. Achilles felt better today but icing as I type this.

    First run with Garmin. Way better than Timex! Why didn't I switch to Garmin sooner? Anyhow, my right achilles still hurting more than it should. Getting a little nervous for the race next week.

    5 x 800m intervals @ 2:50 pace with a 400m jog between. Kids leading the intervals made it easier.
