My first run/walk since MAY. Did it on my treadmill to control my pace. My achilles/heel has still been a bit of a bother but not too terrible. Today I wore a cep achilles brace along with gel heel supports in my shoes so hopefully that will help. Today's workout: 5 minute warm-up walk and two 10 minute runs (at 12 min pace) with a 1 minute walk in between. Ended with a 5 minute cool-down. I was AMAZED that I could still run 10 minutes at a time (and I could have actually run longer but since this is my first time out of the gate in months, I didn't want to risk hurting myself). I've missed running! And you guys! I'm glad to see that I may be able to get back to it! :)
