  1. RUN
    great 7.25 mi 01:08 09:19 pace

Had a great run with a buddy and my Team in Training group on Castle Island. The goal was to do a relatively short run at marathon pace. I'm shooting for a 9:30-9:45 marathon pace so today&#... read more

  2. RUN
    great 4.5 mi

Track workout 4x800 with 400 recovery. thrilled at my 800 paces (7:20, 7:20, 7:36, 7:26) With the humidity even at this hour I felt sluggish so those iterations really surprised me :-)

  3. RUN
    alright 4 mi 00:37 09:13 pace

A sad fact of life when you live at the top of a hill is that there are NO flat runs from home. Still felt like 90+% humidity but the temp must be far less because I got 2 sub-9 miles in.

  4. RUN
    alright 7 mi 01:11 10:08 pace

Left the house at 5:12 am to do this run. It was not noticeably cooler than yesterday's 7:30 am run. Now to take a shower and go back to bed.

  8. RUN
    great 6 mi 00:58 09:39 pace

Met my Team in Training team and had a nice out and back over heartbreak hill

  9. RUN
    great 4.01 mi 00:38 09:26 pace

Humid and legs felt like lead due to the morning run. Felt like hell during the run but really pleased at my pace. No wonder I felt like hell! Is this a new normal?

  10. RUN
    good Track 3.3 mi 00:31 09:15 pace

early morning track since I lazed out last night. Hit some sub 7 min moments (brief but there!) in my tempo section

  11. RUN
    good 4 mi 00:37 09:17 pace

hot and not as far as I was originally planning. However the miles I did were quality. They can't all be winners but I appreciate what I got out of it.

  12. RUN
    good 13.1 mi 02:06 09:38 pace

Alaska half marathon! Not bad - a great way to kick off my marathon training. :-)

  13. RUN
    Caseys 4.17 mi 00:40 09:31 pace

Guessing about the time - I know our overall pace was 9:30. Fast run yesterday + spin this morning = dead legs tonight so I'm pretty happy with this pace.

Thank you Rich for keeping me going! It was a fast crowd and kept me pushing. Someday I will be able to keep up with them ... but for today, I am VERY happy with this performance!

  18. RUN

Did a fun 5 miles with Denise. We monitored heart rate (hers) and tried to keep it in a certain range - a fun exercise. The last quarter of a mile we stopped looking at that and when fast. It wa... read more

  20. RUN
    alright 5 mi 00:47 09:24 pace

Run your hangover off race. I was *told* we would take this as an easy jog. No matter - I should have sticked my hamstring more and been more careful about my choice in breakfast. Didn't re... read more
