Really frustrated! Working round the clock on project due 2 days ago (yuck, yuck, yuck) and don't feel I can allow time for running. Keep saying "Maybe tomorrow." Meanwhile HM looms ever closer and I worry about undertraining. Please gods of running help me finish this ^%$#@!^( project!

Just do a short run around the block. When I get stressed a run is a great "pill" :) good luck with your project

That's good advice; it's easy to get into an all or nothing state of mind, like if I don't get out there for a whole hour it doesn't count. I've noticed you do a lot of quickies.

Are you doing the Conwy? If so it might be a good idea to do some hills or the Orme at least once. I agree with Sheldon - a 20 min run will HELP sort things out! Always did for me :)

Yes I am doing the Conwy and plan to do a reccy of the Orme segment soon. I've been getting some hill practice on Bryn Euryn as it's closer to home. Are you doing that one BTW?

Even if you don't feel like going for a run, put on your running gear and head out for a walk. You'll probably find yourself running after a little while.

Yep, the Conwy is in the plan. The Orme is definitely worth a look as much for the decent as for the rise. Increasing cadence on the decent while letting your HR drop gives free speed :)
