I was supposed to cross-train today, but decided on sushi/sake & a run. I felt like I was pretty fast (for me), but was slightly slower than yesterday. Gah! I wish I had my camera because I ran by some chick who had just been rescued from the water by the yacht club. There wasn't anyone else with her, so I'm wondering how she fell in and who reported it. Lots of cute firemen fawning over her. Ha!

    @Christina J. - I'm wondering if she was rescued from somewhere else and they just brought her to where I was running (a bench on Marina Blvd.). I saw a rescue pontoon leaving, so maybe she fell off a boat since nobody else was with her? She didn't seem too bad off considering how freaking cold that water is (she was sitting up with a thermal blanket & talking to the firemen and the rescuer in the wetsuit), but an ambulance was just getting there.
