Brutal. 85 degrees by the time I got back. Between the loogies, snot (day 5 of antibiotics for sinus infection if you missed that announcement earlier this week), my damn left leg and the heat I nearly called it at 6 miles. The 10 bucks in my pocket was screaming for a cab!

My leg was tight but not painful at the start, but around 5.5 miles in, my hamstring was on fire and the outside of my leg (maybe from over compensating?) hurt so bad I slowed to a hobble. Stretched, ate some blocks and took some water and it was better. Back to being aware of it, but not painful. I don't know what the hell's goin' on.

Was supposed to be 12 today, but seriously, these 10+ felt plenty good enough.

    That is a TON of miles in this heat! 10.58 more than I'm willing to even attempt! Don't like the leg wonkiness. :( Hope it feels better soon. Now... go REST!

    Bummer. I give you so much credit for even getting out there today. It is BRUTAL. Not good to hear about your leg pain. Take care of yourself, we need to get you healed!!
