I've got a "race" this weekend. The Hero Rush course. I've got the running part down, it's the obstacles (climbing, sliding, pulling, etc) that worries me :)
- Miles:
- 701 total / 46 in 2013
- Goal:
Scaling back to 1/2 marathons and less. Full marathons, unless it's something really awesome, is off my list now. Knees are happy about this decision.
Dailymile makes it easy to keep track of your workouts. Map your routes and share with a community of active people.
Kim logged 701 miles.

Really hot outside. 98 degrees in April? In MD? Yep. Our spring weather is weird most years.

First decent run in about a month. My motivation to keep moving during the winter fizzled. So. Starting from scratch. 5K coming up in May so that's something to look forward to.

Just at freezing when I went out. Pretty tough to breathe, but an easy 2 miles considering the weather AND I've been a couch potato since the race :)

Oh Kim! So sorry to hear of your injury! I can empathize! My journey back from injury to reinjury to injury to... very frustrating! I am jsut getting back into things and have lost a great deal of strength but it's in me like its in you. It's not over. A bit of a side track with a hurdles. You've walked a marathon with a broken toe! Your mentally strong and inpire a great many people! Keep your head up and have some fudge! :) (But not to much!)

Thanks Maggie. And I'll be careful on the amount of fudge :)

used my new jacket tonight. All over reflectivity not just a few piping sections. People slowed to a crawl when they saw me. I'd say the jacket was a success!
