It never felt hilly to be honest - well maybe one or two climbs of note but it 'rolled' a lot. I never felt the need for granny gears and kept it in the middle ring.
Did you download that profile from the ride with GPS site? I only used it once or twice but it looks rather good.

I've a proper hilly 400K in a fortnight in Scotland - 5200 meters of climbing or 17000 ft! I have a feeling that granny gears will be employed on this one!
