Felt good for the first 2 miles and crappy for the last 2 miles😐

  3. RUN
    good Around Kalihi 4.33 mi

Still felt a bit of lower back pain when slipping on my socks. First time I’ve encountered wind, at 4am, but it didn’t really bother me though the gusts were almost at 30mph. I was happy with my 3 ... read more

  5. RUN
    blah Around Kalihi 3.22 mi

I slept wrong and woke up with a kink in my lower back. I had a hard time tying my shoes which was an omen for the slow, painful run to come. XXXVII,XXX

  6. RUN
tired Around Kalihi 3.15 mi 00:34 10:54 pace

After a mile or so, I had to make a pit stop, at the house, and ran on dead legs afterwards.

  7. RUN
good Pearl Harbor Bike Path 6 mi 01:05 10:54 pace

I didn't care about time. I needed to run for distance. There were plenty of runners and was passed twice😒

  8. RUN
alright Around Kalihi 3.41 mi 00:36 10:38 pace

Just another run in the dark.

  9. RUN

Same ol' same ol'...though I started out super slow.

  10. RUN
    blah Around Kalihi 4.2 mi

  11. RUN
tired Pearl Harbor Bike Path 4.04 mi

Had a pebble, in my shoe, that I was too lazy to stop and take out. Tired during the las mile as usual. XLlV,XLlll

  12. RUN
good Lagoon Drive 3.52 mi 00:36 10:05 pace

Ran with the wife today. Felt pretty good though it was windy and I don't usually run in the afternoon.

  13. RUN
alright Pearl Harbor Bike Path 4.08 mi 00:44 10:47 pace

Part of the bike path was blocked off for repairs and homeless sweeps. Had to run on Kam Highway which meant waiting at stoplights which messed up my rhythm.

  14. RUN
good Around Kalihi 3.44 mi 00:36 10:31 pace

Ran steady but tired as the last half-mile was uphill.

  15. RUN
blah Around Kalihi 3.39 mi 00:36 10:33 pace

I felt or thought I felt a bit of groin pain during the run. It's either my imagination or I'm hallucinating!

  16. RUN
tired Pearl Harbor Bike Path 4 mi 00:43 10:39 pace

Tired and walked a couple of times between the 3rd and 4th mile. It still feels like my groin isn't fully healed. I always slow jog for 30 sec in addition to my 5 min warm up walk.

  17. RUN
good Around Kalihi 3.36 mi 00:34 10:15 pace

I feel almost back to normal (just the bit of discomfort at the beginning). No more intervals involving any kind of sprinting...too old for that!

  18. RUN
    alright Test Run #2? - Around Kalihi 3.23 mi 00:34 10:28 pace

My lower back and groin feel okay so I guess the test runs are completed.

Yay! I'm going for 2 miles tomorrow morning to see how that test goes. So far, absolute zero issues from weight training the legs and the short dash. I'm very hopeful!

  19. RUN
    alright Test Run #1? - Around Kalihi 3 mi 00:32 10:35 pace

My groin seems okay now. First run after 3 days of lower back pain. I still have that "kink" in my back but it didn't affect me during or after my run.

  20. RUN
    blah Test Run #6 - Around Kalihi 3.02 mi 00:33 10:53 pace

Felt a little soreness (groin) just tying my shoes so I took it real easy. Felt a little discomfort for 20 or 30 seconds, after starting, but that was it.

Lower back pain started during wo... read more
