      My brace was taken off Jan 3rd. Working on getting the strength back. The strength in our hands comes from the ring and middle finger. Simple tasks like opening a water bottle can be challenging. The index and middle are for pointing and pinching, according to the MD. The knee and foot are what I'm being more careful about due to meniscus injury up a few years ago.

    Had a bad fall as I was finishing up a 5 miler. Cable co. Left debris on sidewalk that sent me airborne. Broken right pinky, bruised foot (thank God not broken), and several abrasions.
