great Apple Triathlon Bike 20 km 00:42 17.6mph pace

I felt pretty good on the bike - much stronger than I expected given my lack of bike miles in the past year (only about 700 km since last August, and most of that was spinning on the trainer in the winter). My goal time was 45 minutes and I surpassed that. Very happy with my bike then. It was only a minute slower than last year too. If I'd known I was so close, could I have pushed it a little more? Probably not...

My HRM didn't seem to be working today but I didn't have time to play around with it. Saw Erik at his volunteer post up in the mount royal area. He got a couple of good shots of me.

Biggest problem with not riding enough is my tentativeness on cornering. I slowed down too much. I passed lots of people on the hills though. :)
