Thanks Jason and Sara - keep in mind it's my trainer and the speed probably isn't as accurate as it should be. Erik's trainer is harder to turn even though it's the same brand and he gets lower mileage than me. I think the truth is somewhere between the two

Great Performance:
awesome run Barb!!! That happens to me, comfortable while outside, freezing uncontrollably for hours once I stop. HATE that. Still haven't found a quick or good way to warm up after either.

Way to stick to it KG! I can't say that I've been hit with the bug yet this year, but I'm hoping to avoid it as 3 kids were away for the majority of the week last week.

Great day for running! I found that too with Runkeeper...so thankful for the Garmin now. Looking good with the pacing, bummer about your ankle though.

I like the run by effort, I figure that if the garmin dies on race day I need to be able to deal with by knowing I can run with out it. Nice run B hope it keeps going that way.

Great run Barb. I find that my Nike + Sport band tends to have the pace all over the place as well when I run, so I use it more as a reference or guage.

Way to get out there, Barb. Way to not give in to the temptation.
I have doubts about Yaks because of the all of the ice here in Minnesota.
I have a pair of screw shoes ala 4 Feet Running. Sheet metal screws grip in snow, ice, slush, snow covered ice & are fine object dry road.

Nice day for a run. I think a piece of foil blanket will work even better than the veggie bags. Would be interested to know. Anytime the sun is out is a good time to be outdoors. In fact, I'm convinced the reason animals like deer and rabbits react to my headlights the way they do, is they are hoping somehow it's the sun, and daylight again, when it's warm and predators are easy to spot.
