      Oh man Kelly :( that really sucks. I'm so sorry, I don't know what I'd do if I were you either. Is there some way you could just wrap or tape it so its ok for light runs until the marathon (whichever one you choose)?

      I take water on anything longer than 2.5. I wear my belt if it will be 4+ (or I need my phone). I haven't figured out pacing either.

      Looks like a good pace to me ;) just since its been so hot, I've been carrying water on runs 5 miles or longer. It is hard to figure all this stuff out haha. Nice run!

      Great job Kelly! I am working on getting better about eating while running. Typically I don't use anything for runs under 8 miles or so, but I'm trying to learn to eat something after every hour. Ah the science behind long runs LOL. I'm glad you are feeling better!

    Pretty strong run. During this run I counted items to keep the time passing. I saw 6 other runners, 5 baby bunnies, 3 motorcycles, 2 smart cars and 2 deep. I say a pretty successful run.

      Alyssa-- I didn't know I had a fever on Saturday until after the run, but it made me feel better about my running failure. The fever broke Sunday, thankfully. I am feeling better each day, but still congested. Just taking it slow until I am 90% :)

      Aw sorry Kelly! Bad runs suck :( way to listen to your body though, congestion, running and humidity don't mix! You know that you ARE capable of running 9 miles and you Will run a marathon! There is still plenty of time :) feel better!

      when you feel that bad its best to listen to your body and take it easier, you could make it worse by trying to push through. take it easy, get better, and then get back out there!
