  1. RUN
4 mile loop (in my head) 5.23 mi 00:47 08:59 pace

In my head, the route I planned was to be about 4 miles. I was a bit off, but everything felt pretty good save a tight left hamstring. Felt great to be out running again.

  2. RUN
    Ice Age 50k 30.53 mi 05:07 10:04 pace

This might be long just so I can get details down that I might want to refer to later for future races. The first 13.5 miles was an out and back on some pretty hilly, single-track trails. My plan w... read more

  3. RUN
To City High and back 2 mi

Nice, easy shakeout before Ice Age. Everything feels pretty good. Feeling quite anxious, but I trust my training.

  4. RUN
    Neighborhood miles 4 mi 00:35 08:45 pace

Nothing spectacular about this run, just some nice, easy miles.

  5. RUN
Birthday run (not mine) 4 mi

Robin was flexible enough to switch up our running date to accomodate my taper schedule so I was able to run with Hank on his 3rd birthday, which I may have been more excited about than him (I thin... read more

    Woodpce 4.6 mi

This was alright, my throat was sore from cheering at the RMH races. And I was pretty hungry. Not a good combo, but always happy to be running Woodpecker.

Run with Ross 10.37 mi 01:30 08:40 pace

Gotta say, I think it's probably a good thing for me that the race got cancelled. I think it would've been hard to take it easy. Much better idea to do some nice easy miles in Iowa City w... read more

I totally agree. I thought running Pilot Knob a week out was a dumb idea, but I couldn't bring myself to miss such a sweet race. I was a little bit relieved. Hope i can make it to the rescheduled event.

Run with Robin and Hank 8.14 mi 01:24 10:19 pace

Wow! awesome job!! sounds like the wind was horrible too! You are so ready for Ice Age! I cant wait!! Btw, my garmin always reads longer than the course I think from not being able to hit all The tangents and having to weave a bit. Not sure if that was it or not.
