So it was a nice run today with Kim P. I stole her stats since I forgot to restart my Garmin after a light early on and missed about .7mi of the run. Very warm this morning. So glad we got out early but I definitely was feeling the heat from miles 10 on and last two were brutal. Amazing how last weeks run was almost a minute per mile faster for the same distance and this one definitely felt harder. Not sure if it was the heat or my stomach...probably both. Had some GI issues on the run and after I got home was literally doubled over for about an hour afterward and felt like crap for a good 4 hours after that. Note to self...don't ever have frozen yogurt the night before a long run. Not fun. PS the smile on how I feel is how I felt on the run. If I selected it based on how I felt afterward, I would have had to select...hmmmm, they need an emoticon for "complete crap". Feeling better now though. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I am enjoying hearing all the race reports!

Great job on the 14 miler! GI issues are the worst because it makes you think about every step. Glad you are feeling better!

@Keren, I am not doing the marathon. We have something that weekend. I thought about doing a different one but think I'll stick to 1/2 marathons for this year. I have one on June 9th and the rock n roll on July 22nd.

Wow! Back to back 14 milers the last two weekends training for a half! That is awesome. You will be so ready for your halfs.
