I still can't believe you walked that far in heels. I hate heels and avoid them whenever possible. Makes for some funny work outfits. See you Saturday!

Great blustery run in the morning Kelly, walking in heels for 2.5 miles doesn't sound good for the legs and feet :)

I was always a heels girl. Real heels of at least 4inches but since my surgeries and needed to wear flats even a couple of hour without walking hurts. I'm impressed you were able to pull off a solid session. Well done.

When I run by myself if I am not completely spaced out and locked into a pace I do the same thing as you - chase down runners or keep up with them and my pace zig-zags. It's kind of a fun game to pass the time though! :) Your long run pace is quite incredible, even if you were slightly pushing it a bit. Hey, and lakefront alone is much better than a treadmill any day!!

      Nice Job:

Fantastic effort Kelly, I once read an article that said that there's nothing in the running rule book that says you cannot stop for a break if you need to and try not to make your runs feel like its a chore that must be done, enjoy them.
