      I was thinking the exact same thing, except mine started at 4 miles. These temps were way different than years past and kicked my bootie! You did amazing though! Congrats on the 3rd place!

      Just you wait until we get a cool low humidity day... you'll be off like a shot. It's the humidity that does it.

      I felt it too, definitely a mental game the last 2.55 miles. Mile 4 was at hospital hill. What starts as a mostly flat to downhill course finishes with hill after hill after hill.

    Felt good. Negative splits. Didn't PR, but then again, it wasn't 54° like last year. I placed 4th in my age group. I'm happy with my performance.

    For about a month now it seems the Wednesdays seem to be the hottest and most humid days of the week for me. It was another heat and humidity beat down. I'm ready for the change of season.

    No track night tonight; TU soccer game goin' on. I knew if I tried to do intervals by myself it would probably suck, so I though some hill repeats would be a good replacement. Felt good.

    It was 6 miles at progression; 5 of those miles were well below my race pace (8:30). Felt pretty good though; HR wasn't too, crazy, high. The cool temp and the light rain was really nice.
