good Downtown Jax Bridges 10 mi 01:36 09:34 pace

Last long run before my half-marathon in two weeks. The course will be very hilly so I went downtown to tackle the bridges. I ended up running into an old music professor of mine two times on two different bridges (a nice surprise!) I kept the pace easy (about 30 seconds slower than normal) and had gas left in the tank at the end. I'm hoping that I will be able to kick up the pace for my race. Only time I had to stop my Garmin was to dodge into a hotel lobby to use the restroom.

    It's the Charity Chase Half-Marathon in Hickory, NC.

    Welcome to Jax! There are plenty of races in the area! Right now it's a lot of 5K's until it gets cooler, but there are also many half and full marathons in the fall/ winter! Check out- http://www.1stplacesports.com/calendar.html
