Spent Saturday & Sunday DRIVING to Boulder, CO. Too tired and too busy to workout. Ran from the house that we are staying at to Boulder Creek Trail. I ran up the trail along the creek. AMAZING. Right in the foothills of the Rockies. The first two miles of uphill were rough, but the last two were fantastic! I didn't struggle with the altitude, but I hear it hits around Day 4. Loving our vacay so far!

    We use to make that trip every summer to visit my dad's family (except we had to ride in the back of a pick up with with a topper and no air til I was a teen...Kansas was always brutal!) LOL. Just be careful with running/exertion if you go up into the mountains where the air gets really thin, altitude headaches/nausea are worse than migraines (made that mistake in Estes once..never again.)
