    At least the hills were nowhere near as big and scary as SMP. My bike gears are a little screwed up, so I just tried to push through and enjoy the MO cornfields.

    Definitely humbling! After only training in the pool, I was definitely a little unprepared for no breaks every 50 m. Still enjoyed it and was glad to be in the water.

      Great surprise running into you, thanks for joining me on probably the biggest climb of my run...that made it easier. I was a bit surprised that that uphill mile was one of my faster ones, then I realized I was running with you on a hill....makes perfect sense.
