Dailymile makes it easy to keep track of your workouts. Map your routes and share with a community of active people.
Bleh.
Well, I am getting miles in today. Fell short of my 22 mile goal this week and have been struggling with balancing.....well...life...
New day today and I will get some miles in. The thing is, I'm not sure how to get the miles in when work is absolutely crazy. Have been coming in at 530-6 and leaving at almost 6....
I will be so happy when we hire another person on for the front! :)
Any input /advice/experience my fellow DM'rs? I guess I may need to seriously consider 'becoming' one of those early 345am risers, because exercising in the p.m. has not been working out
Anyway NEW WEEK TOMORROW!!!! You all ROCK MY SOCKS!

Sometimes we have days where life gets in the way of our workouts. I have 2 days a week where I work 12 hr shifts and get home 8pm. On those days I just tell myself if I feel tired I wont beat myself up if I dont exercise, and usually I will feel like just doing a 2 miler. Just do what you can with the situation youre in and I hope it changes for you soon

I've been feeling that way as well (we are also short staffed at work), not to mention pain in my knees keeping me from doing what I would like to do.
I really like Ally's advice, well said!

Sorry to hear that. Here's hoping they get someone hired quickly! In the meantime, remain encouraged. This is just a speed bump in life. You've gotten through them before and you will get through this one. Hang in there! :)

All good, sometimes the schedule makes things tough, sometimes it allows for whatever we need plus. Seems always to ebb n flow, just means the other will come soon.

I would have a hard time exercising with those hours and plus you need some rest too! Maybe every other day you can run in the morn or just on the weekends until your hours get better?

Not enough time. We all experience this when we train. But I think there are some suggested training programs for really busy people. Check out this article in runners world called "The Overbooked Runner". Hope it helps.

Remember its for the long haul so some weeks are lighter than others. When I started back running about 2 years ago, the only time I had to run was at night. So I started running at 8:30 or 9:00 at night. It was tough to get started, but it was great once I was out.
