Finished, which is all that matters. Pace wasn't too bad until mile 8, when a friend that we were with got sick and we slowed down to stay with her. Chilly and rainy.

good ATT - o kelly chapel 12 mi 03:06 15:30 pace
Final walk before the Princess. Leg seems to be completely healed, but no time to work up to training run/walk before the half, so walking it is. At least I likely won't get swept!

That's so great you were able to get this in. I admire you for walking the race when injury gets in the way. It's really tough to walk and be out on the course longer than you are used to when you are running run/walking. Great job!

We may well see each other at the start--I'm 5209 and also in C. I'm not doing the race retreat so I'll be at the corral for awhile<g>

Crabtree greenway 6.32 mi 01:50 17:24 pace
Not so good. Left knee/lower leg has been hurting since last weekend's 21 miler, so the pace was slow and I wound up with blisters due to favoring that leg. On a good note, though, strangel... read more

good ATT - Green level church 21 mi 05:10 14:45 pace
Longest run ever!! Last few miles sucked and were more walk than run, but it's done! Great running weather, sunny and 50. Had a great running buddy with me, too, and thanks to her I was abl... read more

Congratulations, Kathryn! Pushing those mileage boundaries is always an occasion to celebrate. If you're covering 21 now in Dec, you'll be just fine come Feb 12! I'm hoping to run The Donna as well. Looks like it's gonna be a fun one!!

good Friend's neigborhood 3.91 mi 00:50 12:53 pace
Cold, but good run with a friend. Hilly neighborhood, but chatting away made it go by quickly and feel not so bad. Includes about .25 mile warmup walk.

good Raleigh galloway -RRO Cary 6.98 mi 01:41 14:27 pace
COLD. 28 degrees to start. Still taking it easy with two half marathons the last two weekends, and it felt kind of hard today.

Cold for NC! It has been getting colder here in MI too. Good run!

good OBX Half Marathon 13.19 mi 02:45 12:30 pace
Rough race for me - the first one I have done for time in a while. I had a 2:45 goal, though, and nailed it. Weather was beautiful, and a nice flat course.
