  1. RUN
alright Edison Track 4.5 mi 00:42 09:20 pace

Dead dog tired is all I can say. I ran consistent and did not feel terrible, but legs just would not turnover. TaperGate 2012 - I did not want to and did not run the cool-down mile, and did not e... read more

alright River Parks Trail 8.5 mi 01:14 08:42 pace

Well it could have been better. Fairly consistent through out albeit slow. Upper body (mind and lungs) indicated it was easy....lower body not so much. Definitely time to taper.

9:57 is very respectable...especially when you actually run it. Just had to get that in! Thanks for the kudos. Heart U! Considering new term "Black Heart U" for all those that stray from program distances/paces. Maybe not such a good idea as it might giving carpal tunnel from typing so much! LOL!

  4. RUN
alright River Park Trail 9.31 mi 01:21 08:42 pace

Amazingly the Lone Ranger and Tonto were not that far of goal pace (7:58). The first 3 miles into the wind (8:24, 8:04, 8:03) running based on effort. Wow what a difference the wind at your back ... read more

If you need a hand with the yelling at you, my kids always said I was good at it. Just let me know, I could lend a hand to a girl in need, I suppose.

I guess I should blame Nick? OK darn, it was totally my fault. I was running stiff today which means that I feel like I am slow so I push it, but not really.

Georgie, a 50k is not in anyone's training plan at this point in the marathon training program. Chose slower and longer over faster and shorter, since trying to get miles back up after layoff. That's my excuse and I am sticking to it!

1.5 mile WU/CD, 12 x 400 m. Ran with Nick today! We had 1x1:45, 1x1:49, a couple at 1:46 and the rest were all 1:48. We were in a rhythm!

So, here's the question...what happens if I miss a Monday run? When can or can I make it up? Mondays are gonna be tough for me....life is getting in my way. Can I do it Sunday after the Saturday long run....or do I just stop whining and suck it up? Thoughts?

8:28, 8:06, 7:53, 7:53...far off from last week. Figured out issue...might want to consider taking a thyroid pill more than once every three weeks, like daily as prescribed. Damn!

  15. Sincerely pleased that the leader board is split by numerous people in the advanced group; exactly what the run was supposed to be today. BooYah!

  16. RUN
