Beautiful morning for a run! Too bad I had to settle for a walk... At least I can walk without pain so I am hopeful the injury isn't too serious. Trying to get in to see ortho doc this week.

OMG we are in such the same boat! My calf turned out to be a peroneal issue so this week is rest and ART. So missed out running in this great weather! Let's heal quick!

Sorry to hear that! heal quickly! I'm still trying to get in to see a doc. One I wanted to see didn't have an appt until 9/24/15. I hope I can get in to see one soon or it's very unlikely i will be able to run MCM this year. I am starting to get bummed about it...

I got in to FIT Muscle and Joint clinic. Someone suggested them (before I saw your message) and they could get me in today. I have a tear. Not a complete tear but it could be an avulsion tear/fracture. Will be a few more days before i know more.

I hear you. Cut mine short too due to still persisting GI issues and killer calf cramp! Cheers to speedy recovery!

Yes, this weather definitely requires more hydration through the day! I put cucumber in my water and that helps me drink more. I also sweat a ton so i make sure I eat some extra pickles, chips etc to help add more sodium since I lose so much of it! glad you made it back ok. Be careful out there!
