I got on the scale this morning and couldn't believe it. I jumped off and went back on and dang the numbers didn't change. Somehow I gained almost 5 pounds this week. I'm really going to have to start watching again.....

    Another question: How do you FEEL in your body. How do you like how it looks? That's valid... muscle is more dense and a quart of water weighs 2 lbs.

    I hear ya. I try to remind myself that it's just a number. How do clothes fit? Better? Worse? Tight? Loose? And how do YOU feel? Do you track measurements at all? I had a serious plateau with the scale a while back and I was really discouraged until I updated my measurements. Then I was amazed....same weight but inches lost. Definitely muscle. Of course, now I need to get back on the stick.....

    I think my clothes feel OK, but my belly is looking a little plump! I have been drinking a lot of water so I like your theory it's water weight, but I think it has more to do with beer!

    uh OH :-) it's the heat, water retention, all the excuses that are out there are the reasons, seriously..you are brave, i have not touched the scale in two weeks, i am sceered of it
