  1. RUN
good West Creek 1.53 mi 00:17 11:04 pace

Second part of my first brick workout -- 1.5 mile run after 16 miles on bike. It was HOT.

  2. RUN
good the neighborhood 3 mi 00:36 11:57 pace

Better! A nice, slow jog to keep my shin from acting up. About 85 degrees so not as hot. Yay!

  3. RUN
tired the neighborhood 1.8 mi 00:22 12:02 pace

This run was not meant to be. The Garmin died, it was 97 degrees, and I nearly passed out from heat exhaustion. So I packed it in early.

  4. RUN
good the neighborhood 3 mi 00:36 11:55 pace

Hot and humid, so threw in a few walk breaks for hydration, but other than that just running -- and felt great! No pain. Hopefully this is a comeback.

  5. RUN
alright the neighborhood 2.22 mi 00:30 13:30 pace

    Walk/run intervals. Stupid leg.

  6. RUN
good the neighborhood 2.58 mi 00:30 11:37 pace

Walk a minute, run 5 min. intervals -- and man, it was HOT outside. Half marathon, I am coming for ya!

  7. RUN
great Color Me Rad 5k 3.1 mi

Funnest 5k ever! Untimed race with lots of color bombs. :)

  8. RUN
good the neighborhood 2.44 mi 00:30 12:17 pace

Round two of walk a minute, run a minute interval running!

  9. RUN
good the neighborhood 2.44 mi 00:30 12:17 pace

My first "run/walk" interval session since my stress fracture -- and the first running I've done in nearly 2 months! One minute walk, one minute run, for 30 minutes. Hopefully this... read more

  10. RUN
alright Grove Ave. 5.26 mi 01:09 13:02 pace

Run/walk during high humidity -- and unbeknownst to me, a stress fracture. I'm on my way to healing now, but that explains the dearth of postings! I've taken up cycling, yeah!

  11. RUN
alright the neighborhood 3 mi 00:34 11:26 pace

Whoa, this was hard. 3-4 untimed Gatorade breaks were thrown in here due to the SUPER high humidity. I was a big sweat ball by the time I was done.

  12. RUN
alright the neighborhood 2 mi 00:22 11:12 pace

Ugh. Humid and my shin still hurts.

  13. RUN
good the neighborhood 3 mi 00:33 10:56 pace

Oh, shin! Stop acting up so I can run longer distances regularly. Grr. (My frustration expressed itself through speed today, evidently. Whoops.)

  14. RUN
good the neighborhood 6 mi 01:08 11:22 pace

Finally, getting back to some distance. Humid 70 degrees outside, but the shin felt pretty good. It's nice to be out again!

  15. RUN
great the neighborhood 3 mi 00:33 10:56 pace

Short run during what's been pretty much a rest week. No running since the 10k on Sunday to let the shin rest. Today was a bit like letting an animal out of a cage -- I went a little too fas... read more
