I drink my coffee after my run - I know a lot of people like it pre-run, but it messes with me too much to do it beforehand. Maybe try half a cup and see how that works? At least you've identified the culprit :)

I think I'm going to attempt to quit COLD TURKEY.. I bought some decaff today, and will switch to that... it's been making me so jittery. If this doesn't work, I may try to drink it after like you!

I stretch 95% of the time after a run, but I always have to remind myself. And oddly, I rarely, if ever, stretch after a race. Probably having to do with the fact that I need to get in line for post-race food.

Hang in there, Kate. If your travel is done, then you can start getting back into the swing of things again. Think of it like coming back from an injury, except your body is well-rested, and no injury to worry about re-injuring. You'll get there.

Send you a big hug. I hope you will feel better soon and not being disappointed. Dave, has an excellent thought. I like the idea of coming back from injury w/o the injury. ;)
