    Haven't logged in here in ages! Early am run with Patty this morning to avoid the heat. It was already 65 degrees at 5:30 am.

    Diamond Peak 4.3 mi

    Hiked to the too of Diamond Peak - a steep, 2.3 miles climb with nearly 2,000 ft gain. Brought me to 8300 ft above sea level. Ran back down, which was fun.

    Took it very easy for the first mile then picked up the pace a little, but still kept it easy effort. Legs felt good once they warmed up.
