    Last week was my first week back on the roads after a LONG layoff. Now that my work life is returning to normal with the arrival of spring I should be able to become a runner again!

    Felt good during the first hill climb but got stomach cramps on the way down. Managed to run through them and recovered for the second climb.

    Phew, by extending this loop it becomes a tough hill workout. Out of the 49 minutes, 27 are up-hill. My hammies are a bit tight now!

      Nice run. Is there anywhere you can run up there that isn't hills? I'm actually jealous, the best I can do here at sea level is an overpass or a bridge...

      Haha...nope, hills are always part of the routine!! Sometimes I think that hills are easier because at least I have the downhills to recover, when you're running flats there is no recovery!! Good luck this weekend!

    First run after 4 days off..felt good to be back out there! Brought the dogs along and they were so happy!

    I am feeling stronger each day! I love it! This is a great loop because it's part road, part trail with one really good hill. Temp this morning was 41!!! Fall is here!!

    this is my favorite loop near my house. It's tough with major hills but it makes me feel so strong!! I felt great this morning!!

    Recovery type run after active weekend. Butt muscles are tight from hike which loosened up during the run.

    Grabbed a bunch of friends (7 of us total) and all of our dogs (8 of them total) and went for a hike on a local mountain. It was a gorgeous days and we had a great time!!

    This is the fastest that i've run this route. I wasn't even trying to run faster but i just felt great! I brought along Army and he was so happy to sniff everything! Stretched good after.

    Was definitely doing negative splits on this run...started slow, finished strong. I run best that way so I have to keep it up!
