it went a OK, i tried to push a little harder today since i am going to attempt a race this weekend, i don't intend on doing anything other than enjoying it ;-) but it's almost local and for a good cause, i was happy with mile one and three, two sucked as always with it's hills...but...no pain and feel good now...tomorrow is rest day

    Very nice 5K, Karrie. Make friends with the hills. They make you stronger & less prone to injury compared to speed work. I'd take running hills over speedwork any day.
    Have fun with your race. How's your horse?

    I believe she's out of the woods but waiting for a few more days to be sure and pumping the penicillin in her as well, i am sick of giving shots and bet she's sick of dealing with it too...everywhere i run there are hills, i remember training last year and driving out to the potato fields to run my long runs because it was flat, not this year
