Had to manually add each mile because I forgot to stop the watch. Beautiful night. Nice run. I felt like it took a bit of effort to keep going but the scenery helped. I seem to get slower with each mile. Need to push harder. 67 degrees 8 mph southern wind


Sooooo proud of you! 4.57 miles is a hard workout...so, even if you're slowing w/every mile, you're still working really hard, Karol. The heat's also a factor at this stage. We're not used to running in it + it effects how easily the body can stay cool while running. You rock, girl!!

Nice job! It was warm, remember - it takes two weeks of steady work outs to get acclimated to warmer/cooler weather. You did great, don't beat yourself up!

Having good scenery is priceless... I was looking at the results from last year for the race I'm doing on Sunday, which is 2x5K loop. Almost everyone was about 2+ mins slower on the second loop than the first... you're not alone!
