  1. RUN
Maguire towards Potter park 7 mi 01:12 10:16 pace

Lots of stops. Meant to do 14 but a late night followed by poor sleep and a wonky stomach helped me decide to cut this short. Glad to get out there with Christy.

  2. RUN
    alright Hawk 3.1 mi 00:32 10:23 pace

Another slow run while Larry rode along. It was cooler but still humid - the meteorologist actually used the term "tropical!" I didn't stop at all though, so that was a small victory... read more

Tropical is right!! I took a walk break at work today & came back a stinky, sweaty mess! Woo-hoo for not stopping! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป I canโ€™t even say the same for my walk break. ๐Ÿ˜‚

  3. RUN
alright Municipal towards Potter park... 4.03 mi 00:41 10:09 pace

Larry rode along while I ran. Feeling pretty discouraged by my pace lately. It would be one thing if it felt different - especially easy or especially hard - but it just feels normal. Trying to jus... read more

You have NOTHING to be discouraged about! It's the summer heat and (especially) the humidity, NOT you. Happens every year and every year you come out faster on the other side (fall) because of your consistency during the sweaty summer slog. Keep at it...cooler weather and lower humidity will be here before you know it.

great Home through hawk to Mt Hope 5.5 mi

Looking at the forecast I probably should have taken advantage of the clear skies and run, but I just couldn't face the heat on foot tonight. Hopefully tomorrow.

It is SO summery. Not that I'm really complaining. But I come back from my work-day walk break very sweaty and stinky, lol. It doesn't make one want to get out and run in that weather.

  5. RUN
alright Hawk loop 3.1 mi 00:31 09:56 pace

Heat and lack of sleep definitely impacted this run. It isn't even that hot out but I'm over it! I was so tired that about halfway in I really just wanted to walk the rest of the way. I a... read more

  7. RUN
    good Home/Maguire/hawk/towards Pot... 12 mi 02:03 10:15 pace

Threw any pace expectations out and just relaxed and enjoyed this run. So great to be back out there with Christy! And this run was so much better than last week, even with 93% humidity this mornin... read more

  8. RUN
    good Hawk 3.5 mi 00:36 10:08 pace

After a draining couple days I came home with a nagging headache and talked myself out of running. Then after a quick power nap my son asked me to join him while he boarded. Talked back in. Thankful.

  9. RUN
good Hawk loop 3.5 mi 00:36 10:12 pace

Warmer and more humid than I expected. Still a nice easy run (and slow!).

Nice easy ride around the island.

  11. RUN
tired Home to campus via hawk and rt 10 mi 01:39 09:54 pace

Planned 13 but the humidity was my nemesis. Decided to call it at 10 and that was with many stops. At one point I stopped to rest and some volunteers on a golf cart stopped to make sure I was ok an... read more

  13. RUN
great Hawk loop 3.5 mi 00:35 09:58 pace

First run since Saturday. Felt great to get out finally! Beautiful cool weather. Not looking forward to the weather heating back up this weekend!

  14. VELO
great Home through hawk to rt 11.54 mi

The weather was idyllic and this was a great ride with Larry. Trying to take advantage of the rt before they start renovations! Part of it was already closed. Gonna be great when it's finished!

  15. RUN
great Home to Maguire through hawk ... 11 mi 01:49 09:55 pace

Cooler weather felt so good! 9 easy miles followed by one hard-ish followed by one definitely hard followed by coffee with Christy and Nicole. Thankful!

  16. RUN
good Hawk loop 3.5 mi 00:35 10:01 pace

Not sure why these runs have been so slow - maybe the heat, or maybe my body's bored of the same route. Overall felt pretty good though. Thankful.

  17. RUN
good Hawk loop 3.5 mi 00:35 09:56 pace

Hotter than I realized and slower than I felt. Still - thankful.

  18. VELO
great Home to patriarche park and back 15.5 mi

Why drive when you can bike?! We got a little soggy in the rain but it was worth it. One guest asked my sister in law why I was so sweaty! (It was rain not sweat!)

  19. RUN
good Maguire through hawk to rt to... 9.3 mi 01:33 09:57 pace

Nice easy run in the rain - there were some stops and one chat with an older gentleman on a bike. Thankful for the rain and cooler temps.

  20. RUN
    good Hawk 3.6 mi 00:36 09:53 pace

Finally, after several sub-par runs, this one felt right. It's even a little warmer than Tues but so glad the humidity has stayed down for a few days. Zachary boarded while I ran. Thankful
