Yes it is good to run without your garmin friend once in awhile. It can be freeing in some ways but I have to prepare my mind for it beforehand. I find it really horrid how easily we get addicted to something like our watch! Nice run!

LOL i ran last night unplugged to and I am so annoyed that I didn't use my ipod cause I really wanted to know our pace. I think we ran faster than I normally do but who know's for sure :)

Hey I'm right there with you, Kari! I rarely run unplugged by myself. Most of the time I just really like knowing my pace and such. Unless I'm running with a group.
