It was 39* at the start. Everything was very cold. Met up with friends to ride. A few miles in, one of our group had a flat. I cooled down too much waiting for it to be changed. When we started up again, my HR was in zone 3-4 and my quads felt dead.
Stopped for a restroom break at mile 26. Felt like I should head back, but decided to see if I could muscle through.
Made it to 77 miles and called my future son in law to come retrieve me. My decision came when I began having sharp pain in my left hamstring, especially on the hills. I was mashing pedals and only seeing single digits.
After this many weeks of increasing mileage. I think the fatigue is just too much.
Going to take 1-2 days of rest and come back for a stronger week next week. I hope.

    Good call.. there is no reason to mash and risk injury. .. you must first get to starting line.. . Once on ride.. the overriding thought should be how I can get through ride and have enough legs for the run..
