Between moving into a new house and finding out I am expecting:))...I have seriously neglected my dailymile posting (shame on me) I am trying to get back into the swing of life (which means RUNNING)...and if anyone has any suggestions on running while preggos please share...I sooo dont want to get fat!!

    Running while pregnant is very doable. A bit of extra weight, however, is healthy for the baby, so don't get too extreme about that. Congrats on the house and the baby, and here's to having lots of reasons to celebrate running!

    Awesome Kara! Big congrats on house and baby. My advice, after 5 pregnancies (all boys, yikes, i know) be sure to listen to your body. some days you may feel exhausted and others, full of energy! best of luck. keep us updated :)

    Awesome! Congrats! I agree with Chuck...definitely run but watch it as your body changes..I wasn't an outdoor when I was prego but I used the elliptical and lifted weights throughout the pregnancies...I still got fat but babies n I were super healthy n it was not hard to lose the weight!

    Congrats! I ran through both of my pregnancies (up until a few days before both kids were born). Take it easy, wear a HR monitor and keep your HR down. Talk to your doctor about I ran outside (and xc ski)--just really took it easy. Remember you're not training, your just running to keep yourself fit. I swear it helped me have easy deliveries too! Congrats again!
