good Harbor Mountain 8 mi 02:30 18:45 pace

This mountain run put eaglecrest to shame. 1 mile warm up, 5 miles uphill (with no relief in the form of flat portions anywhere), 1 mile flatish at the top. Started back down when my dad came to fi... read more

  2. RUN
great Eaglecrest Suicides 9.08 mi 02:04 13:39 pace

Instead of running to the top and back, I ran the first 3 miles, back to mile marker 1, then back up to mile marker 2 (cause running that giant hill once wasn't enough), and down to the bottom... read more

  6. RUN
    blah Perserverence 8 mi 01:55 14:22 pace

Started at my friends house dt to add distance. Second time this year Perserverence has kicked my ass and it's starting to make me angry. Granted, I started with soar/tired legs so I probably ... read more

good Heidi droppin' the Hammer 01:00

Back to working out with Heidi... girl sure knows how to kill it. With the weighted bar we did 20 power cleans (I think they are called), 20 shoulder presses, 20 squats, then we threw in 20 pushups... read more

First mile warm up: 10:34; 2nd mile 9:55; and 3rd mile 9:22... beat my 3 mile goal by 5 seconds! Then a nice easy cool down. Kinda of stoked to be picking up the pace a little again. Then topped i... read more

great To the Tree! 2 mi 00:17 08:44 pace

9:15 to the tree and 8:14 back!!! I can hardly believe it myself but set out to see how fast I could do it and shocked myself. Keeping in mind that an 11 min pace is a good day for me and sub 10&#x... read more

  11. RUN
good To the tree 2.05 mi 00:23 11:25 pace

Good run. Tried to add distance by making it a loop but somehow got dumped back at the house and called it good... Guess I need to learn my way around a little better still.

  12. RUN
good Fitness and to the tree 2 mi 00:25 12:35 pace

(10 squats, 10 push ups, 10 situps) times 10; took about 17 minutes. Then ran to the tree and back, forced myself to go slower than I wanted to.

I agree with Jody! It's amazing what brings us comfort and helps us face difficult challenges and things that are beyond our control. There is a lot to be said for routine and familiarity; knowing what to expect provides a sense of security we all need, some times more than others. You're a gem, Kaili--take good care of yourself and your Mom. It's a great thing you two can be together right now. You're Mom is absolutely right; Women can pretty much Kick Ass as well as or better than dudes can! X,O

F'n - A Cotten. Keep the legs moving and the eyes up, and you won't miss a thing. Rad story! It's a good reminder to spend time with the folks.
