I agree; John loves to go on adventure runs when we are vacationing, but I find it very exhausting to go down a dead end, back track, and head somewhere else; it must be a personality thing for me because I'm the type that likes to know the plan ahead of time, I'm not always great at switching gears midway through something!

Totally! I don't mind adventure runs in which I plan every possible outcome in advance but I don't do well with the "should I turn left or right here?" runs.

  14. RUN
good Watershed Park 4.01 mi 01:05 16:12 pace

The hills were amazing!! DM should give you 2 miles for every mile that you power up. ;) Didn't worry about pace as much as trying to keep moving up and take breaks, if needed, while going down.

Went out for a 6 miler, got lost, found an amazingly beautiful park, finished 9 miles total. Half marathon in just a few weeks so I'm glad I got a longer one in, even though I didn't mean... read more

I'm in Bellevue. It's been great so far! Nice neighborhood- I'm right on a major cross-section so I can basically leave my front door and run any of 7 different directions, which is so nice for keeping it fresh!

I'm excited about "Two and through"- I've wanted to do it for a while but you know how these things work out. Naturally, this is the first year I won't be training on Eaglecrest but that's life. "Luckily"- this area if very hilly!
