I've never heard of tarsel tunnel syndrome. I'll have to google that one. I see what you're saying about the orthotics. That's a good question. What did he recommend for rehab? Try the KT Tape. I got it at Meijer (of all places)!

In the words of REO Speedwagon: "I can't fight this feeling any longer..." Sometimes, no matter what, you just can't fight that urge to go run. haha!! Great 2, and glad it didn't bother you on the run. Maybe, just maybe the Glycerin's will be just what you need...?

Good luck! Knowing going in that you will give yourself a break if you need it is so helpful. I hope your foot gets better fast! Have fun.

Thanks. Gwyn! After the race, I plan on taking a break from running and MAYBE even seeing a doctor. I have to get this foot better so I can run my fall races!

That's a good plan! Find a well reviewed either sports medicine doctor or a podiatrist who runs. I am not a fan of going to the doctor either--I was even dragged kicking and screaming when I knew I had broken my foot! But sometimes it IS actually necessary. Take a break and if it doesn't improve fast (since it's already been awhile), just go. It's only money! And some time! To get you back up and running, it's worth it.

You could always start and see how far you get and drop out if needed, Kelly. My leg is still giving me twinges so that's my plan at this point. Sorry that your foot isn't cooperating.
