    alright Reality Bikes B1 27.8 mi 01:24 19.9mph pace

Shaun went down early in the ride - waited for the ambulance to pick him up and the shop to get his bike before riding on. Kind of dampened the spirits...

What happened? Always sorry to hear this. Hope Shaun is OK (relatively speaking of course).

good Sandy Springs 3.72 mi 00:33 08:53 pace

Lunch run with Dean S. so I could stretch the legs after yesterday's ride. Uppers 70s with humidity in the 80s means one thing - spring time is back in the ATL!

  4. VELO
good Tour de Cure 65.66 mi 03:28 18.9mph pace

We drove down to the ride even though it was raining cats and dogs back home. We had decided we would do the metric instead of the full century due to the lack of miles. Great route, good support... read more

  5. RUN
    good BCG 6.38 mi 00:54 08:31 pace

Skipped the wet ride and wet on a damp run instead. Good to see Natasha on the greenway. Tomorrow will (probably) be a wet metric century for the Tour de Cure.

Hung on in the B1 group and wound up finishing top 4 after some dumbnuts bumped me over the double yellow in front of an oncoming pickup. Cut back in time, exchanged pleasantries with the lad and ... read more

Nothing like getting a little fueled up on Adreneline after a maddening experience like that to finish strong. Nice work, Ken!

Nice. I rode though sugar hill, Suwanee and Buford on the hills today and thought I was going to die. My bike has been hanging in the garage most of the winter, but still.

      Great Performance:

I love it when my predictions for other people's success come true! I knew that if you just kept at it that you'd stick with that group eventually! Super!

Nice job working the core and upper body (with a bit of leg work, too) on a day where you're going to ride!

First run in the new kicks - moving from a stability to a neutral shoe. Snugger fit than the Asics - wondering if I should go up a width (if I can get them locally).

I always like running in new shoes... It's like a new toy at Christmas.

What shoes did you go with? I am swapping brands too -- never thought I'd do that. I was in Brooks Launch and am trying to decide if I'm going to keep these Altra Torins (zero drop) - funny you mention the width, as last night I ordered a half size up to compare the two. I'll just ship back the one that doesn't work!

Well you done got out and did!!! I am very grateful that you are posting these maps because it's an area with which I am unfamiliar and have 60-90 minutes once or twice a week to get in some running and seeing new routes helps keep me motivated. Thank you so much!

Happy with the average; not happy that I was spit off the back again. Its going to be a hard couple of months trying to get back into shape.
