      Great job despite the conditions! I had done something similar at my first marathon. It may have cost me a faster finishing time, but I'm glad I got her to the finish line.

      For me, it is was 5 years after having tumors removed in an area a man does not like to mention (sorry for graphic). I actually would not restart running for another year when I was 248 lbs. I think they called me Pork Chop. Maybe not. But they should have.
