It was a little fast for a long, slow run but an encounter with a coyote will make you pick it up a little bit! These are the joys of running in the west!

Speedwork, fast miles: 9:30/9:24. Those days when you don't want to leave the house turn out to be the best runs!

There's a well-fed coyote that patrols the wash by our house. Freaked me out the other day when he came trotting along about 15 feet in front me! I know I picked up my pace to put some distance b/t us.
