  1. RUN
    good MD: WB&A Trail (6:46am) 2.1 mi 00:21 10:07 pace

Cold spring run with temps in the high 30's. Good run and it was a good shakeout to get some blood flowing. I felt good. More miles to come this summer!

  2. RUN
    good MD: WB&A Trail (6:37am) 3.11 mi 00:32 10:07 pace

I felt slow and stiff today but I ended up being faster than usual. The feet felt pretty good in the Leadvilles but I would have kicked them off had the ground not been so wet. I might have felt so... read more

  3. RUN
    good MD: WB&A Trail (6:55am) 3.03 mi 00:31 10:19 pace

  4. walk
    good MD: Odenton (10:48am) 5.9 mi 02:05 21:05 pace

    Weighted walk with Max.

  5. RUN
    good MD: Odenton (02:29pm) 5.11 mi 00:59 11:34 pace

Generally a pretty good run, considering I was pushing the stroller. Decent miles either way.

  6. RUN
    good MD: WB&A Trail (6:52am) 3.08 mi 00:33 10:40 pace

Temps were in the high 40's and it felt pretty good to get the blood pumping. My toes got a little cold but I was fine. Beats fivefingers. More miles this weekend!

  7. RUN
    good MD: WB&A Trail (6:44am) 2.28 mi 00:24 10:34 pace

This was my first run, since taking off last week to recover before GORUCK #526. I felt a little bit dead this morning, which isn't a surprise, and my legs felt a bit just tired. Should have l... read more

  8. RUN
    good MD: Odenton (6:47am) 2.11 mi 00:42 19:43 pace

Slow walk with the dog. Not a bad warmup just to keep the blood moving.

  9. walk
    good MD: Odenton (5:00pm) 6.08 mi 02:05 20:31 pace

Walked with Max, more just to make sure my gear was squared off than to get in a workout. Not bad. Felt OK in the shoes. Will wear this weekend for my second GORUCK challenge.

Route might have be... read more

Thanks, Carol. It is tough but it is a GREAT event. It is a change of pace from running events, and is a great reminder of what can be accomplished when we work as a team.

  11. RUN
    good MD: WB&A Trail (6:56am) 3.01 mi 00:32 10:39 pace

It took me a little bit longer to get out the door than I wanted but it was a nice morning for a run: cloudy, 60*F, and a light mist. Perfect. I felt lighter and faster for the 5K this morning. Wor... read more

  12. RUN
    good MD: WB&A Trail (5:39am) 4.07 mi 00:42 10:26 pace

This is the first time I have run in shoes in a while. I found them to be pretty uncomfortable and I had a hard time getting comfortable in my stride. I need to do some soul searching and think abo... read more

    good MD: Odenton-all over (12:49pm) 6.28 mi 01:11 11:19 pace

I felt pretty good this run. It was warm and sunny. Max didn't complain much in the stroller. Running in sandals felt SO good. The miles were slow. I will work on loosening up next week. Maybe... read more

  14. RUN
    good MD: WB&A Trail (6:30am) 3.03 mi 00:34 11:16 pace

This was a great run. I did well on pull-ups, too. I felt good and got a half-mile in barefoot. My GPS was off, so I believe I might have been faster, if only slightly. More miles tomorrow.

Temps were much warmer - lower 60's F. I ran in sandals with a mile or so in the middle barefoot. I will keep adding barefoot miles in until I am back to running shoe-less. Feet feel great. I ... read more

    MD: Odenton (2:30pm) 8.79 mi 02:57 20:07 pace

Afternoon ruck. 40 lbs. Feet feel a bit tender but don't feel too bad. I may try next week's ruck with shoes on. More miles behind me; more to come.

    good MD: Odenton All-Over (11:04am) 7.15 mi 01:26 11:59 pace

It was a nice day for a run. Temps right at 50*F. Pushing the chariot made the workout a bit tougher but I always like getting Max outside in the sun. I feel great right now. More miles to come tom... read more

great run! I've never pushed a stroller, but I'm guessing it's easier than your weighted Rucks.

Thanks for the support! The stroller isn't too bad. The child occasionally needs quite a bit of assistance. We like getting out of the house, though.
