      Honestly, training my runners at paces like 11-14 minute miles has actually helped my endurance. It's not a bad thing to do permanently. Last year I had my best marathon in my life at age 58 after training a young lady for her first half where I ran at least 20 of my miles each week at 10:30-11 min miles. Most of those elite Kenyans run very slow easy runs (6-7 min miles). you will be surprised how much better that will make you. Great running!

      Glenn most of those Kenyans also run 130 miles/week right? And those alleged 9:00 recovery runs might come 5 hours after a 20 mile tempo.

      They haven't updated their blog in a year. I think Strava killed them. Also where are the ads, or whatever to make some money? There is nothing. Garmin data now only comes over manually unless you are still using an ant+ to upload your data. That said, I still like it here, it's just so dead.

      Yeah a lot of the people I knew on here are still running/cycling but are now on Strava because apparently it'll auto-upload workouts from Garmin connect to there. Apparently DM can't do it. I asked them about that. Also I told them to remove the Team thing, since I noticed half the people on the "DM Team" aren't even on DM anymore. Doesn't look good. But yeah the site still works well enough for me.

      I have a Strava account but I never look at it. There was a warmth about this, It just fell behind the times. It's a shame.
