    Did the 6x1 mile repeats. Way tough after the Scorcher. The last one was a struggle to get close to 8:00 pace. Blaming it on the heat and a sore back.

    Should have renamed it the Soaker Half instead. Rain pretty much the whole way. Running thru wet surfaces trying to avoid puddle. There was no avoiding of wet shoes. Missed PR by 5 seconds.

    So lucky to meet up with this group of all Chinese runners in the Plano area. Now I have a group to run with while visiting in Plano.

    9 miles tempo. 1.5 w/u, then 9 miles, and finished with a lil c/d. Got caught in a hail storm on mile 8. Finished the run after the storm passed. Happy with the run overall!
