Sure, run the first seven with us and then turnaround and head back. The other option, is to leave a car at Metro Beach and run to the turnaround point and then back to your car. Or, park at Metro Beach, wait for us to get there, probably around 9ish, run back with us and then get a ride back to your car.

Kevin, thanks for getting back with me. I really wanted to come a hang with you guys. Ended up working the evening shift though...I just could not fit it into my day. Didn't even get my run in til after the Superbowl. One of these days I will make one of these--it sounds like fun.

    blah 4 mi 00:34 08:35 pace

Took my Hokas out for their maiden voyage. I like them! However, wasn't feeling that great (sickness going through the house and it's my turn) so I turned it into a slow 4 miles instead of the plan... read more

Hokas are intriguing. They look like so much shoe. People love them though. Seems like the opposite of minimalism. Let me know what you think. You ever try the Altras?

You certainly impressed me when you did it last year, especially considering the Bibilical storm on the official run! I'm only doing the single again this year, and that's tough enough! However, I need to make sure I'm injury-free for my first IronMan in July.

Awesome! I've run it the first two years, including last year as a double. I'm hoping to make it my "Every year" marathon as it's such a great event and a cool city.

I remember you doing that last year! (How about the weather last year!) I've done both years and plan to do so every year myself. My family is from Roanoke. I remember meeting you in the Center on the Square the day before the race two years ago. I recognized your justfinish.com shirt!
